NELFPC New England Large Format Photography Collective |
A group of ten Large Format photographers from New England gathered together in October of 2003 to discuss a type of "free to all" forum to promote Large Format Photography. We now number eleven. While we all realized we wanted to grow, we recognized the need to identify our goals and establish some criteria for expansion. The first step in determining our purpose and direction was to draft a Mission Statement: |
We the members of the New England Large Format Photography Collective, join together to share ideas, goals, and vision. We seek to achieve the highest possible standard in large format photographic expression, through the support of personal growth. We are committed to foster an open forum for the dispersion of knowledge, ideas, print-shares, technical demonstrations, fieldwork, and group exhibits employing disciplines of the past and the technology of tomorrow. |
|
We believe Large Format photographers are unique people. Simply stated, if you derive considerable enjoyment while viewing something "upside down and backwards" in the dark you are unique! We wish to network with others who embrace this oddity. Please join us at a future gathering of like minded Large Format Photographers. Check back periodically for upcoming events. |
